The broadcaster took to YouTube’s Uncensored series on Monday to accuse Spencer of including false information about him in the book Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, which was released this week. Morgan is demanding that the publisher, Michael Joseph, remove the misleading content.

Spencer’s book includes allegations that Morgan was among four tabloid editors named in an article about responsibility for the paparazzi’s role in Princess Diana’s death. Morgan denied the claim, stating that the photographs referenced were published two years before he joined the Daily Mirror and that he was working for The Sun at the time.

Morgan also disputed a section suggesting he snarled with annoyance when told he was no longer invited to Diana’s funeral. He said he was not surprised by the decision and claimed the only editor who reacted negatively was from the Mirror. Additionally, the memoir claims King Charles made a dismissive remark after Diana’s death, though Buckingham Palace has not commented directly on the book.
