The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a recall notice Thursday, warning that the internal heating elements in the products can overheat, creating fire and burn risks for users.

JKMax, the manufacturer, reported 577 incidents where the blankets smoked, melted, or burned due to overheating, with 53 resulting in injuries. The affected models include JKMAX-002, JKMAX-7284B, JKMAX-6284B, JKMAX-10090B, and JKMAX-8490B. Consumers should stop using the items and contact the company for a full refund.
