The inquest disclosed that Arday was located at his home on the afternoon of August 14. This occurred just days after he stepped down from his position at the University of Cambridge.
London Inner South Coroner’s Court convened on Wednesday to hear the details of the case. The court was informed that Professor Arday was found “unresponsive” by his family.
A formal inquest into Arday’s death has been initiated by the coroner, with proceedings adjourned to a future date.
