“I feel incredibly fortunate to be alive,” Stewart said in a recent interview. “it is a miracle I survived.”

The attack happened while Stewart was swimming off the coast of Australia. She was immediately rushed to the hospital where she underwent emergency surgery to treat her injuries.

“The medical team did an amazing job. I cannot thank them enough for saving my life,” she added.

Stewart’s story has garnered significant attention, highlighting the dangers of shark encounters and the importance of quick medical intervention.
