POLICY WIRE — City, Country — Several drivers have filed a lawsuit against Mercedes-Benz, alleging that the AMG logo on their vehicles caused severe burns. One plaintiff reported having half of the AMG logo burned onto her back after entering a hot car.

The plaintiffs claim that the logo, which is made of a material that becomes extremely hot in direct sunlight, poses a significant risk to drivers and passengers. The lawsuit seeks compensation for medical expenses, pain — and suffering, and other damages.
