POLICY WIRE — Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland — A proposal for a massive £16.5 billion data center has been submitted for the site of the former Chapelcross nuclear power station in southern Scotland.
The project, developed by CX Tech Ltd, would be located near Annan in Dumfries and Galloway and is expected to generate approximately 500 full-time jobs if approved. The facility would have a capacity of 1 gigawatt, according to the company.
