A source with knowledge of the situation told CBS News that the extent of the damage has not been fully disclosed to the American public. We’re standing there with our eyes closed getting punched in the face, the service member said. The images include a Boeing aircraft missing parts of its fuselage and radar dome, along with a building reduced to rubble at Prince Sultan Air Force Base. Similar scenes were captured at U.S. bases in Kuwait, where a charred truck and flattened trailers are visible.
