Norfolk Police reported that an officer was bitten during the confrontation. The force hasn’t disclosed the extent of the injuries sustained by the officers involved.

“We’re committed to maintaining public safety — and order. Those who engage in violent behavior will be held accountable,” a Norfolk Police spokesperson stated.
