Authorities state that the alleged incidents occurred over a thirteen-year period, spanning 2008 to 2021, with locations involving both Portsmouth and Wales.

The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed that the charges involve four victims. In addition to the rape allegations, Madgwick faces accusations of sexual assault and controlling or coercive behavior.
