POLICY WIRE — Washington, DC — A significant portion of the American public is seeking more transparency regarding the role of Natalie Harp, a White House aide known for her intense loyalty to President Donald Trump.
Data from a recent poll conducted by JL Partners and the Daily Mail indicates that 42 percent of U.S. citizens believe further questions about Harp’s position in the administration remain unanswered.
The survey found that 36 percent of respondents are undecided, while 22 percent expressed satisfaction with the current information available.
Political affiliations showed a sharp divide in opinion, with 58 percent of Democrats calling for more answers compared to only 29 percent of Republicans.
Despite the scrutiny, the poll suggests Harp remains relatively obscure to the general population. Only 16 percent of those surveyed reported having heard a great deal about her, and 23 percent said they had heard a fair amount.
One-third of all respondents admitted they had no knowledge of her at all, and fewer than half of both major political parties have been tracking her story closely.
Within political circles, Harp has drawn attention for her extreme devotion to the president, earning her the nickname the human printer for reportedly providing the president with printouts of positive social media comments and news stories.
In the book Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump, New York Times reporters Jonathan Swan and Maggie Haberman claim Harp leaves the president adoring notes, including one that stated, You are all that matters to me.
Public interest in Harp spiked following reports of her involvement in a secret July operation to switch aircraft during a return trip from a summit in Turkey to avoid potential Iranian security threats.
Harp was reportedly among a small group of aides who accompanied the president as he exited Air Force One via a catering truck to avoid detection by senior Cabinet members and the press.

This close relationship has made Harp a target for partisan critics and late-night comedy programs.
During an August stump speech, Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff criticized the president, claiming he prefers building ballrooms and traveling with Harp to a flying palace provided by the Emir of Qatar over performing his official duties.
The Trump administration has dismissed this scrutiny as baseless, defending Harp’s standing within the White House.
White House spokesman Kush Desai told The Independent that the Fake News Media cannot comprehend the level of trust and admiration Harp receives, adding that the loyalty Trump inspires among his staff proves his dedication to the American people.
According to Regime Change, the president has praised Harp’s fidelity, allegedly telling staff that she was the only person who loved him as much as his children and wife.
Trump reportedly told subordinates that while others would eventually leave to make money, Harp would never abandon him.
The Independent has reached out to the White House for further comment.
