Pennsylvania Haunted House Supervisor Charged in Multi-County Sexual Assault Spree
Bucks County prosecutors have charged a 38-year-old haunted house supervisor with sexually assaulting three victims, including a 12-year-old child.
POLICY WIRE — Bucks County, USA — A 38-year-old supervisor at a Pennsylvania Halloween attraction is facing serious criminal charges after prosecutors accused him of sexually assaulting an employee. Edward Eisenhard, who had worked at the Valley of Fear in Lower Southampton Township for approximately 10 seasons, allegedly used his position of authority to target victims ranging in age from 12 to 38.
Bucks County District Attorney Joe Khan announced the charges, noting that the incident at the haunted house occurred on September 25. According to a criminal complaint, Eisenhard grabbed, restrained, and indecently touched a female employee while on a break, holding her against her will until he was required to return to his duties.
Khan condemned the actions, stating, Unfortunately, there are real monsters in this world. He added that the office is committed to fighting for justice for the victim, describing the encounter as a moment of terror.
This case marks the second set of workplace sexual assault charges filed against Eisenhard in recent weeks. He was previously arrested on October 1 for an alleged September 27 assault involving a 19-year-old coworker inside a stockroom at a Five Below store in Hilltown Township. Khan noted that investigators possess a recorded phone confession from Eisenhard regarding that incident.
Court documents further allege that Eisenhard sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl in Springfield Township. Prosecutors claim he leveraged a personal relationship with the child’s family to gain entry into their home, where he molested the girl while she was sleeping.
While authorities are currently reviewing information regarding potential additional victims, Khan stated they are not speculating on whether visitors to the haunted house were targeted. He urged anyone with relevant information to contact the district attorney’s office at (215) 348-6345, emphasizing that the office provides a safe environment for victims to come forward.
Eisenhard remains in custody after failing to post bail. Prosecutors intend to request that a judge remand him without bail, citing the danger he poses to the community. For those seeking support, the RAINN national sexual assault hotline is available in the United States at 800-656-HOPE (4673).
