Mezzetta confirmed the issue in a recall notice submitted to the Food and Drug Administration, stating it has reached out to the consumer and is conducting an investigation. The company said no cases of illness or injury have been reported so far. The affected product includes 32-ounce jars of the medium-heat variety, which may contain foreign objects like pest contaminants.
