POLICY WIRE — Singapore — Kenneth Jeyaretnam, the secretary general of Singapore’s Reform Party (RP), passed away on Saturday at the age of 67. His wife, Amanda Jeyaretnam, announced the news on his social media account.
Jeyaretnam died in his sleep, surrounded by family. “He was my beloved husband — and a loving and devoted father to his son, Jared. He filled our lives with joy — and wonder and we miss him so much,” Amanda Jeyaretnam said in her statement.
