Italy Activates Highest Heat Alert for Nearly All Major Cities

POLICY WIRE — Rome, Italy — Italian authorities have escalated heat alerts to the highest level for 19 major cities, including Rome, Milan, and Naples, as an intense heatwave grips the nation. By Monday, all but two major cities are expected to be under red alert.
