POLICY WIRE — City, Country — Content creator Good Good has issued a formal apology and removed an advertisement that sparked widespread outrage. The advert depicted a woman being pushed to the ground as she attempted to reach for a man’s golf club.
The controversial advertisement was swiftly taken down following backlash from viewers who found the scene both disturbing and inappropriate. Good Good released a statement expressing regret for any offense caused.
“We deeply apologize for the content of the advertisement. It was never our intention to depict violence or cause distress. The advert has been removed, and we are reviewing our processes to ensure such an incident does not occur again,” the statement read.
