French Modeling Scout Linked to Epstein Found Dead
Daniel Siad, a French modeling scout with ties to Jeffrey Epstein, was found dead at his Paris home. Investigation underway.
POLICY WIRE — Paris, France — Daniel Siad, a 69-year-old French modeling scout with close ties to convicted US sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, was found dead at his home outside Paris, according to prosecutors and his lawyer on Wednesday.
Siad was one of several French men under investigation for allegedly aiding Epstein in the trafficking and abuse of women. He had not yet been questioned by investigators but had denied the allegations.
“An investigation to determine the cause of death was opened on Monday evening following the discovery,” officials stated.
The circumstances surrounding Siad’s death remain unclear as authorities continue their inquiries. His connection to Epstein has drawn significant attention, given the high-profile nature of the case.
Epstein, a financier, was convicted of sex trafficking charges in the United States before his death in 2019 while in custody. His network of associates has been under scrutiny ever since.
