“He could have stomped me. He could have gored me,” Isom-McDaniel said from his hospital bed, reflecting on the terrifying moments captured on camera. The video shows the bison hurling him approximately 8 feet into the air before trampling him.
Isom-McDaniel, who was visiting the park with his family, emphasized the unpredictability of wildlife. “You never know what can happen. One moment you’re enjoying the scenery, — and the next, you’re fighting for your life,” he stated.
