Data provided by the Palestinian health ministry indicates that more than 74,000 people have been killed since the bombardment began in October 2023. These strikes were launched in response to the Hamas-led attack on October 7, which resulted in 1,200 deaths and the abduction of 251 hostages.

Abu Eita reports that she is currently unable to secure employment or pay for necessary medical care. She further noted that her children struggle to interact with her, explaining that they are afraid of me and my appearance.
