POLICY WIRE — Skillman, United States — A tragic incident unfolded at a New Jersey mansion, where an insurance executive is suspected of fatally shooting his wife and daughter before taking his own life, according to local authorities.
The Montgomery Township Police responded to a welfare call at the family’s home last Thursday. After initial attempts to contact the occupants failed, officers gained entry a day later and discovered two women with head wounds from gunshot injuries. A man was also found with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

David Grodnick, 61, was identified as the deceased man, along with his wife Lora, 62, and their daughter Sloane, 24. Grodnick held a senior position at Land Services USA, a real estate title insurance company. The case is being investigated as a possible murder-suicide, with officials stating there is no ongoing threat to the public.
