Despite the successful orbital insertion, the spacecraft exploded shortly after landing in the water, with SpaceX choosing not to broadcast the final moments of the flight. Technical issues, including an engine failure mid-flight, forced the mission to be shortened from ten hours to three, but engineers ultimately confirmed that the spacecraft could still reach orbit.
