Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has called for Ballard’s dismissal and the revocation of her teaching credentials if the allegations are proven true. In a letter sent to Sarasota County Schools, Uthmeier stated that Ballard allegedly harassed and disparaged the student for his political beliefs, while also spreading derogatory labels like ‘misogynist’ and questioning the influence of the student’s father.
