POLICY WIRE — Los Angeles, United States — Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has passed away at the age of 27, according to a family spokesperson.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Gerber died Sunday at a rehabilitation facility. The official cause of death has not yet been released.

A statement from the family’s publicist said, The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time. Gerber followed in his mother’s footsteps as a model and worked alongside his younger sister, actor Kaia Gerber. His father co-founded the Casamigos tequila brand with George Clooney. In 2018, Crawford and Gerber, then 18, recreated her iconic 1992 Pepsi ad for Super Bowl 52.
