POLICY WIRE — Paris, France — A major European data center initiative is set to take shape as Data4 confirms a €5 billion investment for a large-scale AI data center campus in Escaudain, northern France.
The project, backed by private equity firm Margaux Platforms, marks the company’s most ambitious undertaking yet. The 700MW facility will be built on a former industrial site, part of a broader push to expand AI and cloud computing capabilities across Europe.
