The report, published by Talking Points Memo, highlights Marshall Rawson’s presence alongside the League of the South, an organization labeled as a white supremacist group by civil rights advocates. The candidate, who has been vocal about preserving Confederate monuments, was captured on video arriving at the event and greeted by members of the group.

Rawson was also photographed near James Alex Fields Jr., the neo-Nazi who later drove his car into a crowd of counter-protesters, killing one person and injuring many others. He is currently running in the Florida House District 10 race, set to face Democrat Merrillee Malwitz-Jipson in November.
