Neighbors described the household as having seven dogs, which had previously targeted other animals but never shown aggression toward humans. Despite this, the attack left a community in shock, with one neighbor recalling the mother’s desperate cries as animal control arrived. A GoFundMe campaign was launched to help cover funeral costs, as the family lost their home and belongings shortly after the tragedy.
