POLICY WIRE — London, UK — Ariana Grande delivered her final performance with an outpouring of emotion and gratitude towards her fans. During her last concert in London on Tuesday, the singer expressed her deep appreciation for the audience, marking the end of her public engagements for the foreseeable future.
Grande described The Eternal Sunshine Tour as one of the most beautiful, extraordinary experiences of her life. She confirmed earlier this year that she would be taking a hiatus after the tour, which included a 10-date run at London’s O2 Arena.
The singer, known for her emotional connection with her audience, admitted to being moved by the tour’s conclusion after 41 dates across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. She struggled to speak without becoming overwhelmed with emotion.
“I’ll cherish this experience always. I have the best fans in the entire world and I always have,” Grande shared with the crowd. A spokesperson for the singer previously stated that Grande would be “taking a step back from visibility” to avoid ongoing public scrutiny.
In a social media update, Grande informed fans that she had to change her signature six-inch heeled platform boots due to a foot injury. Despite the change, she assured her followers that she was recovering well.

The audience mirrored Grande’s style, dressing in stilettos, cat ears, and ponytails, which the singer noticed and appreciated. “Thank you for all of your effort and continuing to make this so special. I have loved every minute of this with you all,” she said.
The concert ended with a dramatic sci-fi-inspired finale, where Grande was summoned back to a spacecraft, ascending to the mothership in a beam of light. While her next public appearance remains uncertain, her recent album “Petal” is expected to be featured at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards.
